Inspired by the Tour de France bicycle race this original is highly textured. Featured are a broad range of muted shades of blues, greens, grays, and yellows to give an impression of landscape. Bold, black circles and lines bring bicycle and rider to the foreground. Textured squares in white create head and body with a hint of a face and indication of the yellow jersey. Multitude of color, faint lines and circles put the rider in motion.
The original is no longer available. A print on canvas in the original size is recommended for this painting.
