Looking for Your Face
Looking for Your Face is an 18 in x 24 in cubistic painting on stretched canvas. In this contemporary work, I use black acrylic paint applied with palette knives. Eyes with eyebrows, nose, and mouth appear in an abstract reconstruction of a face. Organic shapes and circles in signature orange, yellow, and iron oxide create hair and earrings. This original is ready to hang. Featured are shades of blue and grey with hints of metallic acrylic paint. High-quality matt varnish protects this piece from UV damage and allows for gentle cleaning.
